McDowell Hospital's Wellness Works Program

The McDowell Hospital’s WellnessWorks Program is a strategic employee health and wellness initiative designed to work hand-in-hand with local employers to address their many employee health needs. The program is available to area employers to assist them in controlling their rising workers’ compensation and commercial health insurance costs. 

Our program will partner with employers to provide new preventative health and wellness initiatives as well as assist with worker’s compensation injury management.   

WellnessWorks is available to not only the employers and their employees, but includes dependents as well. The program provides employees and their dependents 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week access to schedule any appointments including annual physicals and preventative health screenings as well as locating a primary care physician or specialist. By streamlining healthcare services for families, the program also encourages people to better utilize the many wellness benefits covered under their healthcare plans.
