As our children grow through each “age and stage,” new challenges are faced and more milestones are achieved. In this ever-changing landscape, how do parents know what is typical, what indicates a potential problem and what…exactly…is their child’s unique need at the moment? That’s where we can help.
McDowell Pediatrics provides much more than quality medical care. We’re dedicated to taking care of your child’s physical, mental and emotional well-being at every stage of development. We offer complete services, from preventive health maintenance and medical care for illness to developmental screenings. We understand it’s a privilege to care for your child. We meet your trust with compassion, commitment and experience.
McDowell Pediatrics offers primary care for infants, children, teens and young adults. We accept new patients up to the age of 18 but we will continue to treat established patients up to age 21. Rely on our experience to provide the healthcare your child needs to promote healthy development, beginning with infant care through the challenges of teens and young adults.
Our specialized care is pediatrics and we’re here to diagnose and treat medical concerns, offer guidance, and answer any questions you might have. However, you are the expert on your child and we count on working with you—listening to your input—as part of our healthcare process.
At McDowell Pediatrics, we also stay up-to-date with community resources and maintain solid working relationships with the professionals and specialists treating the wide variety of issues that sometimes arise in our pediatric patients. We’re prepared to make appropriate referrals but we strive to remain involved in your child’s healthcare, no matter where treatment is delivered.
We’re always here for you and your child. We’re available during office hours but if you have an emergency, we encourage parents of our patients to call us any time using our after-hours emergency number.
As a full-service pediatric provider, we diagnose and treat most issues your child faces, including:
